About me
I'm Pin Wen Zhang (Wen), a freelance UI/UX designer with 6+ years of experience in B2B and B2C SaaS. I've worked remotely with clients across many industries, helping them design and ship products that solve real business problems.
Products I have built
At BigGo I led BIRSE, a Shopify app that grew to 500+ e-commerce clients and US$30K+ in annual recurring revenue, earning Shopify's official Built for Shopify badge. Recent work also includes leading 0-to-1 design for OAPhub, an AI agent platform, and UI/UX for enterprise SaaS products such as a price monitoring system adopted by LG and Carrefour Taiwan.

Skills
Product planning
Interviews, competitor research, user flows and specs. I turn fuzzy ideas into documents engineers can build from.
UI/UX design
From wireframes and prototypes to design systems, with a focus on B2B tools, e-commerce and fintech.
Building with AI
I work out the rules with AI, write a spec, have Claude Code build it, then test and sign off myself. I also use NotebookLM and Gemini for research.
Data & SEO
GA4 for user behaviour, Search Console for rankings and multilingual pages.
Technical know-how
I write HTML and CSS, deploy sites myself, and can talk implementation with engineers.
Collaboration
Tracking work in GitHub Issues; comfortable with Scrum.
