OAPhub (Open Agent Platform) brings AI models and AI tools together in one place. Users find tools for image generation, video, voice, search and more, and connect them to their own AI apps.
A quick intro to MCP
MCP (Model Context Protocol) is a standard that lets AI use external tools. On its own, an AI can only answer. Connected to MCP servers, it can actually search the web, generate images and read data. OAPhub is a hub for MCP servers.
The problem
- Too many tools, changing too fast: new AI models and tools appear almost every week, and it’s hard to know what’s available.
- Competitors were cluttered: research showed that existing platforms made tools hard to find, with unclear pricing and use cases.
How people use it
- Find a tool by category (image, video, voice, development and more) or by keyword
- Understand the price, billing model and use case right on the card
- Copy the connection settings into their own AI app, such as the Dive desktop app
The solution
- Easy to find: filter by category, provider, popularity or newest, or search by name
- Easy to compare: every card shows price, billing model and use-case tags up front
- One subscription for everything: an all-in-one plan so one account covers many models and tools
What I took away
This AI product was built from scratch and later moved to internal use. Along the way I went deep into how AI models and MCP work and how they’re priced, and learned to turn fast-changing, technical information into an interface everyday users can understand.
