Overview
THE F2E is a hackathon for front-end engineers and UI designers. The team, front-end engineers plus a UI designer, took part after work. Over three weeks, each week meant shipping a complete project, from design to launch.
Three projects
Week 1: Event website
Two characters tell the story: a front-end alien who grows octopus arms to type faster, and a UI ghost who puts on an oxygen mask to float off in search of inspiration, just like everyone growing through the challenge.
Week 2: Online signing tool (shortlisted)
“Just Sign!”, an online signing tool for people who need to sign documents fast, on desktop, tablet or phone.
Week 3: Scrum Village (shortlisted)
Teaches Scrum to beginners through the metaphor of making burgers. Complete each task to learn the Scrum process and earn the Burger Chef badge.
Results
Three projects in three weeks, two shortlisted, and the team earned a gold badge.
